School Chaplaincy Program
Our Chaplaincy Program is funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations through the National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program.
The Chaplaincy Program is voluntary and assists our school to support the spiritual, social and emotional wellbeing of students. This can include support and guidance about ethics, values, relationships and spirituality, the provision of pastoral care, enhancing engagement with the broader community. The Chaplaincy Program is not to be confused with the support provided by the Guidance officer. At Waterford State School the Chaplain does not provide counselling services to students and or parents. These matters must be referred to the school's Guidance officer.
