Opening in 1869, Waterford State School is a co-educational State Government school located in the Logan area on the western side of the M1.
Our school which offers classes from the Preparatory Year to Year 6 and programs for younger children in the Early Childhood Development Program, services the communities of Bethania and Waterford. Our school has an Enrolment Management Plan.
Approximately 15% of students attending the school are students with disabilities.
The majority of students come from urban dwellings with a small number coming from rural properties. Students come from a variety of family backgrounds including many from single parent and low-income families as well as some middle class two-income families. A small percentage of students come from other cultures (7%), are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background (5%) or are Students in care (1%).
